Sticky-Icky Popcorn

BONUS POST!! We’ve got a BONUS POST everyone!

Are you stuck in a rut when it comes to snacks for your kids? Or even for yourself? Well I have got a delicious and easy solution for you!
Now there are two ways to make Sticky-Icky Popcorn, one is a healthier option but just as yummy!
Option #1: Honey
So to start pop a bag of popcorn! I used an un-buttered, all natural brand but any popcorn will do. Then boil 1 cup of honey and let it simmer for about five minutes. (Make sure your honey doesn’t burn- it really smells and is difficult to clean) Pour this over your popcorn and toss. (Another pro tip is to go ahead and pick out all the un-popped kernels before you pour in the sticky honey) From here you can add whatever you like! I added some pumpkin spice and cinnamon for a fall flavor!
Option #2: Marshmallow Fluff
After you’ve popped your popcorn, warm up 1/2 cup of marshmallow fluff in the microwave for a minute or so. (Again be very careful not to over cook!) Pour this over your popcorn and toss. To add a fun look to the snack I added some red food coloring and red sprinkles!
You could also add in peanuts, a drop or two of peppermint extract, mini marshmallows or anything else that strikes your fancy!
Lots of loves,
Tally
